This is our first fundraiser of the school year and a beloved tradition.
Help us reach our goal of $12,000 by spreading the word, rallying pledges from loved ones and helping students study their words so they ace those spelling tests!

How it works:
Classes in each grade level are given a list of spelling words to study. Then it's time to spread the word and collect pledges from friends an family. After the spelling test, each word spelled correctly will earn money for the school through the pledges they received.

How to pledge:
More information and this year's Spell-a-thon website and online pledging portal coming soon! There you'll be able to pledge your support for our awesome students, view prizes, and see which class is in the fundraising lead.
Pledge templates will also be available to help get students started with collecting pledges.
Dates & Deadlines:
• Spelling lists will handed out by the student's teacher the week of October 20th
• Pledges can be made until November 7th at 11:59pm
• Tests are administered in class the week of November 10th (individual teachers will decide test time and date)
• Scores will be uploaded after tests are completed
• Prizes will be distributed/scheduled in early December
What Spell-a-thon supports:
Funds earned from Spell-a-thon help the PTA to deliver special projects and resources to your students to enrich their daily classroom activities. These include:
· Student field trips
· Teachers stipends
· Supplies for the classroom and school
· Enrichment activities in OMA, Chess and Ecology
· Community events
· Blank books for spring literacy night
